Hey all! After a hiatus this past winter and spring, we are excited to come back and expand our efforts in fungal education and outreach. To start off, we will be promoting our club in collaboration with the OSU Botany and Plant Pathology Club at the Beaver Community Fair next Friday (September 27th) from 12-4pm. Come check out our table for information about our club goals, see some fungal specimens and sign up for our email list!
The following week, on October 2nd at 5:30pm, we will have our first club meeting of the year in Cordley 2087. We will go over club goals, planning events for the term, and recruiting a new officer team. We would love to see you all there!
Keep following us here, on Instagram and on Facebook as we send out updates for our events and promotions of local events through the North American Truffling Society, the Cascade Mycological Society, and the Oregon Mycological Society. See you soon, Mycophiles!
Hello friends and fungophiles! Our last general meeting of the year is next Tuesday at 5pm. Club officer Gillian will be giving a short talk on her thesis research studying the fungal endophytes of Douglas-fir seeds, and then we'll have officer elections for next year. Come on by to learn about plant microbiomes, make some friends and pick your new club leaders for next year. Hope to see you there!
