Welcome to the Oregon State University Mycology Club! We are a group at OSU dedicated to teaching students about fungal biology, ecology, collection, identification and cultivation. To do this, we have a number of events that we host, including research talks, forays, and workshops on fungal identification and cultivation. We also aim to connect students with volunteer opportunities through OSU events, the herbarium fungal collection, and collaborations with local and national mycological societies. In the coming year, we hope to expand our efforts in education and outreach through offering more training on fungal identification and volunteering with the Cascade Mycological Society, the North American Truffling Society and the Oregon Mycological Society as part of the Oregon Mycoflora Project.
